We provide our wedding decorations and venue styling services mainly in West Yorkshire and surrounding Yorkshire regions like North Yorkshire such as Harrogate, Richmond and York as well as East Yorkshire. However we do operate on a national scale often dressing weddings further a field. Once of our most favourite places to dress a wedding is the lake district.

Here at Set the Scene we are very passionate individuals who have moulded together to execute a stunning setting. We aim to specialise in wedding and event themes, exquisite and different chair décor, bespoke centrepieces, and those finishing touches that just complete the perfect look.
Our transformations are planned to perfection by working in close connection with all of our clients. By doing so it enables us to fully understand the purpose of the event and imagine the overall vision before we bring it to life.

Leanne Megson
(Creative Director)
At the heart of the company of Set The Scene is founder Leanne Megson who took the plunge to create the company from her love of decor and set design.
Leanne grew up in wakefield nr Leeds. From a child Leanne has always been driven by her imagination and creativity. As a self confessed perfectionist she knew that from working within a creative industry for over 15 years she possessed the key skills to run a successful wedding stylist and wedding hire company.
Leanne loves working on ideas, hunting and hand picking hidden gems to add to her growing collection of wedding and event props. She works on a one to one basis to ensure that Set The Scene offers a unique and personal service so that each customers gets that special event they have always dreamt of.
